Using scientific terminology correctly

Recently, I received some inquiries from students who are using the current Science Form 1 textbook. The textbook is published in Malay language, after the introduction of a new education policy, called MBMMBI (literally translated as "To Uphold Bahasa Malaysia and to Strengthen the English Language).

I have listed some of the scientific terms which are incorrectly translated into Malay language.

Incorrect: Sel stem (p.60)
Correct:   Sel tunjang

Incorrect: Gas cecair petroleum (p.80)
Correct: Gas petroleum cecair

I hope the above has answered some questions from the readers.
